A Message from Yohan Thanks for reading my story! My foot looks and feels like a big, fat sausage. It was nice and normal until I started walking, and then it got swollen and unrecognizable. It’s almost as if someone jokingly replaced my foot with an inflated balloon and told me I was good as new. I’m not buying it. My physical therapist tells me to do all sorts of exercises, but my brain isn’t quite able to communicate with the sausage, and sometimes, it just refuses to budge. When I try to walk, my nerves complain with sharp, shooting, tingling sensations. Thank God for Aleve. The Cycle 4 CMT event is coming together quite nicely. I’m always amazed at the amount of work involved in making it a success. I have the Best Uncle Ever! But, I’d like to give Uncle Chris a little bit of “walk” for his money. This year, I’m doing my part to raise money for the CMTA. Here is the plan – on August 27, 2017, I am bound and determined to walk a mile to raise money for CMT research. Of course I am having second thoughts, but I can do what I set my mind to – I will succeed, even if I have to drag the sausage over the finish line. With Love, Yohan |
